2013年開展的瀨戶內海藝術季，與三年前略微不同，主要是在時間上做了一些改變，展期以春、夏、秋季節來區分，展覽作品也因此有些為分別，並且新增高松以西的五座小島，擴大了整個藝術季的活動場域。但為什麼會選在冬天前往？除了因展期時間無法配合之外，一來在官網上可以找到一份到2014年3月期間，作品與設施開放的時間表；二來回想起害怕人擠人的我們，上一趟也是藝術季開展後隔一年(2011)才出發；綜合前次經驗，以及對這個區域的熟悉程度，反而對冬天的瀨戶內躍躍欲試。
只是，行程再怎麼順暢也是有意想不到的情況，尤其是新增的小島，沒料到非藝術季期間交通是一個大問題，以致於前幾天西邊小島的行程，爲了能夠成功銜接JR(四國予贊線)、很少班的公車(註1)以及船班，並能一天跑兩個島（高見島因為沒有展覽且時間因素而捨棄），在零度左右的氣溫天未亮就出門，我們還以為繼上次刻苦之旅後，這次會是豪華輕鬆行(註2)，話說回來，也只有頭幾天去新的小島時比較辛苦，後面幾天就輕鬆多了，況且，也多了不同的收獲與體驗。（待續）

(註2) 有關上一次的瀨戶內藝術季之旅，文章其實只有寫了一篇，但那次的經驗，讓我們這次在計劃直島、豐島、小豆島等行程，做了比較輕鬆的選擇，如果有意前往這些小島，可作為另一參考。
